One focused series: Ascend

Advent was founded in 2021 by a father and son with a combined 40 years in the window industry, and is based in Aurora, Texas. It builds one line, the Ascend Series, for single-family homes and multi-family construction, in both new-construction and replacement versions.

Advent describes Ascend as a balance of style and performance, with a slimmer frame for more visible glass.

  • Pocket sill on operating units; reinforced meeting and sash rails
  • Equal sight lines on all operating windows
  • Easy-tilt sash for cleaning from inside
  • Constant-force stainless steel balance system and cam-style lock
  • Optional vent stops and window opening control devices (WOCD) for limited opening
  • Fixed lites glazed from the interior, so the glass can be replaced from inside
  • Nail-fin options for replacement and new construction
PATIO DOORS

Ascend sliding glass doors

Sliding patio doors in standard widths from 5' to 12' (OX/XO, OXO and OXXO) at 6'8" or 8'0" tall, with custom sizes available.

Colors

Interior colors White, Tan and Clay. Exterior laminates listed include Black, Brown, Bronze, Brushed Silver, Cocoa, Hunter Green and Garnet; patio doors come in Black or Bronze exterior laminates.

Grids

Colonial, Prairie and Craftsman patterns, in 5/8" flat or 3/4" contoured profiles.

Safety & ventilation

Window opening control devices, sash-limiting devices and ADA locks are listed options — worth asking about for kids’ rooms and upper floors.

Energy & glass

Glass designed for Texas heat

In North Texas, the bigger job for a window is holding back summer sun. Advent’s EcoStar insulated glass package is built around that.

LoE-366 Low-E glass

Advent’s EcoStar package uses double-strength glass with a LoE-366 coating; its patio doors use tempered LE366 glazing as standard.

Argon gas fill

The insulated glass is filled with argon gas, which slows heat moving through the window compared with air.

Warm-edge spacer

A warm-edge spacer system separates the panes, reducing heat transfer at the edge of the glass.

ENERGY STAR & NFRC

Advent’s site shows ENERGY STAR and NFRC marks and explains how to read the NFRC label, but doesn’t list ratings by model.

Ask us to show you the NFRC label numbers for the exact window we’re quoting. In Texas sun, a lower solar heat gain (SHGC) number usually matters more than anything else on the label. On west-facing glass, solar screens block 80–90% of summer heat on top of that.
