What is the Wincore 5400 Series made of?+
A chambered vinyl frame with frames and sash welded at the mitered corners. Wincore says the chambers add strength, rigidity and thermal performance.
What’s the difference between the Wincore 5400 and 7700?+
Both are Wincore replacement lines. The 5400 is positioned on value and performance. The 7700 is Wincore’s flagship retrofit line, with a beveled exterior frame that mimics wood and more decorative and color options. We can show you both and price them side by side.
Are Wincore 5400 windows ENERGY STAR certified?+
It depends on the configuration. Wincore publishes a 5400 thermal performance chart showing ENERGY STAR status for each style and glass package in each climate zone; some qualify in the southern zones and some don’t. We’ll confirm the status of the exact windows on your quote.
What warranty comes with Wincore 5400 windows?+
Wincore’s replacement-window warranty lists lifetime coverage on vinyl, hardware and screens for the original owner, 20 years of full coverage on the insulating glass, and a one-time transfer to the next owner. Labor isn’t covered by Wincore. We walk through the details at your estimate. Read the warranty.
