Product lines
PerfeXion is Norandex’s main vinyl replacement line. Every series shares a fusion-welded frame and sash, a 3-1/4″ frame width, and LowE 2 soft-coat glass with argon gas as standard. Performance figures below are NFRC-certified values Norandex publishes for its standard packages.

Norandex lists Xact as a regional line, and its literature notes some finishes are made only on Xact products manufactured in Texas. All three replacement series offer clean profiles, forced-entry-resistant or recessed locks, and full-length or integral lift rails.

Energy & glass
Every PerfeXion series ships with LowE 2 soft-coat glass and argon gas fill, and ENERGY STAR glass packages are available as options. ENERGY STAR groups the country into climate zones, and the southern zones are mostly about cooling — which is North Texas most of the year.
That’s why we look closely at solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC): the lower the number, the less of the sun’s heat comes through the glass. PerfeXion Gold and Bronze list an SHGC of 0.21 on their standard package; Platinum lists 0.26, with other packages available.
Warranty
Norandex publishes a separate warranty for each line, and the details matter. Here is the headline for each; the full documents are on the Norandex warranties page.
A Double-Lifetime Limited Warranty for residential owners: lifetime coverage on vinyl, double-lifetime on hardware and the insulating glass seal, and 25 years of glass breakage coverage. Labor is not covered. Transferable once to a later homeowner. PerfeXion Bronze has its own, shorter warranty. Read the PerfeXion warranty.
A Lifetime Limited Warranty with lifetime coverage on the frame and 20 years on the insulated glass unit and components for residential owners. Lifetime glass breakage on 7400 and 7600. Skilled labor and shipping are included for two years from manufacture within Norandex’s service territory, which includes Texas. Read the Xact warranty.

If your windows open, close and lock fine and the frames aren’t warped or rotted, replacing just the glass may be all you need. We’ll tell you honestly which windows qualify.

Platinum has the most style, glass and color options, including triple-pane and laminated glass. Gold covers the most common replacement styles with a strong warranty. Bronze is the cost-saving series with a thinner frame wall and its own warranty. We’ll match series to each opening rather than upselling the whole house.
Norandex offers ENERGY STAR glass packages as options on PerfeXion windows. Whether a specific window qualifies depends on the glass package and the climate zone, so we confirm it on your quote.
It depends on the line. The PerfeXion replacement warranty does not cover labor. The Xact replacement warranty includes skilled labor and shipping for two years from manufacture within Norandex’s service territory. We go over the specifics with you at your estimate.
